Narratives and encounters in life play a substantial role in my creative process. Strangely I wasn’t very much interested in visual arts or drawing when I was in P4, but I took art more seriously in my secondary school years at Arden Academy, UK.

 

 The constant uprooting and starting somewhere new may be exhausting to most, but the change in scenery every few years has really helped me to understand my identity as an artist due to the fact that my style will often change based on my surroundings. 

 

I don’t often tell stories about humans, but my ideas and inspiration have always been rooted in concepts and emotions which are integral to humanity. Combining writing with my passion for the visual arts has ultimately led me to strive to become a picture book creator.
