Happier Than Ever (2021)

Thematically I have always found music to be my best inspiration for creation, and I have always found concept albums to ooze imagery. This portrait started out as a simple study, but I found myself listening to one of Billie Eilish's title tracks 'Happier Than Ever' on repeat. Looking at the piece, I can see lines that were thin and shading which was subtle, and some lines which were very rough and bold. I think that the duality of the song is something most of humanity can relate to. The vulnerability of realising someone whom you trusted with your heart didn't treat it well, the anger of knowing how much energy you wasted on a person, and the sadness in knowing you hate someone that used to be your whole world.
